Similar to storytelling, marketing is the buildup scenario to get people interested, and sales is the punchline. In summary, marketing tells the story of what you are trying to sell. By using this incentive to create awareness for the product or service, the sales team can then complete this process by forming a trusted relationship with the customer.

Especially in this industry, it’s okay to not know exactly what you want to do. From digital marketing to event planning, from web development to brand strategist, from traditional newspaper to radio; marketing offers new jobs, old jobs and jobs that make headway in this industry every day. You have the chance to define a role in the industry; how cool is that!
